Successful ÖKOPROFIT certification

ÖKOPROFIT (Ecological Project for Integrated Environmental Technology) is a cooperation project between local authorities and the local business community aimed at reducing operating costs while simultaneously conserving natural resources such as water and energy.

Participating companies work closely with experts, local authorities, and industry associations to develop practical concepts for saving energy, water, and reducing waste. Through workshops and individual consulting, measures are designed that not only protect the environment but also deliver tangible financial benefits.

The core objectives of ÖKOPROFIT include cost savings through more efficient use of resources, environmental protection by reducing waste and emissions, and an enhanced corporate image for companies positioning themselves as environmentally responsible.

Measures and activities include, among others, the use of highly efficient lighting systems, optimization of heating and air-conditioning systems, installation of water-saving fixtures, use of rainwater, improvements in waste separation and recycling processes, as well as employee training on energy efficiency and environmentally conscious behavior.
