HEUEL LOGISTICS is a family-owned transport and logistics company headquartered in Meinerzhagen (North Rhine-Westphalia). For more than 100 years, we have stood for reliable freight forwarding and logistics solutions in national and international overland transport.
As a family-owned freight forwarder, HEUEL LOGISTICS is led by Christoph and Stefan Heuel, representing the second generation of management. The management focuses on the needs of its customers and makes decisions quickly, responsibly and with a long-term perspective.
This structure enables short decision-making processes, a high degree of flexibility and cooperation based on partnership and equality – a significant advantage over anonymous corporate structures.

Modern locations and high-performance infrastructure
With several locations across Germany and Europe, HEUEL LOGISTICS operates a modern infrastructure for transport, transhipment and warehouse logistics. Company-owned warehouse space, high-performance transshipment centers, and specialized facilities enable the efficient handling of a wide range of logistics requirements.
Our locations form the basis for reliable goods flows, short transit times and high delivery reliability.
Our locations in Meinerzhagen and Drolshagen
Our operating sites in Meinerzhagen and Drolshagen are the hubs of our daily service provision. They house our commercial departments, where operational transport management, dispatching, central service and control functions, and commercial administration are all brought together.
From these locations, national and international transports are planned, coordinated, and monitored. The close integration of commercial processes, dispatching, and operational logistics enables short decision-making paths, fast response times, and end-to-end control of goods flows.
Several transhipment and warehousing centers
In Meinerzhagen and Drolshagen, we operate a total of four logistics centers with a combined site area of 150,000 square meters. These facilities are equipped with efficient transshipment systems, enabling the handling and storage of a wide range of industrial goods.
We manage a total of 50,000 square meters of transhipment and warehouse space and handle more than 2,000 shipments per day.

OUR HISTORY – 100 YEARS OF HEUEL LOGISTICS
The history of HEUEL LOGISTICS began in 1926 when the company was founded as a transport and bus operator.

Since then, HEUEL has continued to evolve – from a regional transport company into a high-performance freight forwarding and logistics provider with a Europe-wide focus.

With Christoph and Stefan Heuel, two experienced entrepreneurs of the second generation of the family-owned Josef Heuel GmbH, the now 100-year-old company is in capable hands.
Milestones in our company's history
- 1926 Company founded as a transport and bus operator
- 1980 Inauguration of the Drolshagen facility
- 1990s: Christoph and Stefan Heuel join the company
- 2007 Relocation of headquarters to Meinerzhagen
- 2008 Founding of Heuel Logistik GmbH
- 2014 Hall extension and expansion of the Meinerzhagen site to 50,000 square meters
- End of 2015 Consolidation of transport activities within Heuel Transport GmbH
