Managing the flow of goods throughout Germany and Europe is part of the daily tasks of a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk at HEUEL LOGISTICS.

As a logistics expert, the organisation and coordination of goods shipments is the focus of your job. In consultation with the customer's wishes, you ensure that goods always reach their destination on time and in the most economical way. To this end, you calculate, plan and organise the dispatch, handling and transport of shipments to the recipient. You will communicate with customers, colleagues and business partners and monitor the smooth running of the logistics processes, right through to invoicing.

As a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk

You plan, organise and coordinate the dispatch, handling and transport of goods
You ensure that goods are shipped and/or warehousing services are provided in a cost-effective and timely manner
You communicate with customers, colleagues and partners, including in English
You monitor and control goods shipments along their logistical process chain to the recipient
You calculate prices, handling and storage conditions
You advise customers on logistical tasks
You take care of the necessary freight and customs documents for shipments
You will change departments every 3 months to get to know all areas of the freight forwarding business
