Vocational trainingas a warehouse logistics specialist

Training as a warehouse logistics specialist

We have plenty in store for you

In this position, you will accept goods, check and record deliveries and then either forward them or store them safely, securely and in an environmentally friendly way. Everything that leaves our storage facilities will also pass through your hands. Modern storage and communication technology will help you with your work. You will learn how to use this technology for tasks such as controlling handling and lifting equipment and using PC or barcode systems.

Present-day warehouses are full of technology, and after your three years of training, you will have a confident grasp on all of these technical solutions. You will organise the unloading of goods and plan their destinations and their storage in our facilities. Your job will also involve planning tours, producing accompanying documents and grouping load units. What’s more, you will also be expected to optimise processes and much more. One thing’s for sure: you need to be physically fit for this position.

As a warehouse logistics specialist, you will

  • accept incoming shipments and check their condition and completeness
  • assist with the loading and unloading of trucks with the help of handling equipment or forklifts
  • scan and label consignments for subsequent storage or interim storage
  • use PC and barcode systems to track warehouse stock
  • work with loading schedules for outgoing goods or when loading trucks
