Managing commodity flows throughout both Germany and Europe is one of the daily tasks of a trained specialist for freight forwarding and logistics services at HEUEL LOGISTICS.

As a logistics expert, your profession will focus on organising and coordinating shipments of goods. In accordance with the customer’s requests, you will ensure that goods always reach their destination on time and with the most cost-effective transport solution. To achieve this, you will calculate, plan and organise the shipment, handling and transport of consignments from their source to their recipient. This will involve communicating with customers, colleagues and business partners and monitoring the smooth running of the logistical processes, right through to the invoicing stage.

As a trained specialist for freight forwarding and logistics services, you will

plan, organise and coordinate the shipment, handling and transport of goods
ensure that shipments of goods and/or storage services are performed in a cost-effective and punctual manner
communicate with customers, colleagues and partners in both German and English
monitor and control consignments along the entire logistical process chain until they reach their recipient
calculate prices and handling and storage conditions
advise customers with regard to logistical tasks and challenges
handle the necessary freight and customs documents for transports
switch departments every three months to get to know all areas of freight forwarding
